The 12th World AIDS Conference Public Fora

On July 1 and 2, the 12th World AIDS Conference is organising two evening events open to the public to discuss the latest developments on AIDS. These fora will take place at:

The Arditi-Wilsdorf Auditorium
1, avenue du Mail

Supported by the Tribune de Genève and MSD-Chiret AG, the Conference invites Geneva citizens and communities to interact with leading personalities who will present the latest developments in AIDS research, therapies and prevention. The events, moderated by well-known local journalists, will be held in French and are slated to last 90 minutes.

July 1 at 6 PM: RESEARCH AND NEW THERAPIES will focus on biomedical sciences including how the virus works, treatment updates and vaccines. The evening will continue with live transmission of a Swiss TV special on the Conference.

July 2 at 8 PM: PREVENTION: THE STAKES will be devoted to issues and questions related to all aspects of prevention. The event will feature video highlights of Swiss and international prevention campaigns.
